Emily Andre, wife of singer Peter Andre, shared details of a recent date night that ended in confusion and a search for an alternative venue. The couple, who have been married since 2015, discussed the mishap on their new podcast, "At Home With The Andres."
Emily revealed that she and Peter had not had a proper date in two months, a frequency they aim to improve upon. When Emily, who was working, asked Peter to book a table at one of their favorite restaurants, The Giggling Squid, he agreed. However, Peter opted to call the restaurant, leading to a misunderstanding.
Upon arrival, they discovered the restaurant was closed. "The one job I had, to book date night," Peter reportedly joked. The couple then had to find another place to eat. After initially considering a Thai restaurant, they realized there was another establishment with the same name across the street.
They eventually found the correct location, arriving half an hour late for their reservation. The staff at the restaurant acknowledged that other customers had also gotten lost. Despite the initial difficulties, the couple proceeded with their meal, later discussing the need for clearer signage.
