The Louvre Museum in Paris has reopened its famed Galerie d'Apollon (Gallery of Apollo) to the public, nine months after a significant heist saw jewelry worth millions stolen. While the gallery is once again accessible, it will not feature the crown jewels or gemstones that were previously housed there.

Louvre Director Christophe Leribault stated that the iconic space will no longer display the Crown Jewels and gemstones, which are now being housed in secure areas elsewhere within the museum. The decision marks a shift in how these valuable artifacts are presented following the theft.

The robbery occurred on October 19, when masked individuals used a truck equipped with mechanical ladders to access the gallery through a balcony. French authorities have since arrested four individuals alleged to be the perpetrators, though the stolen items have not yet been recovered.
