Lori Loughlin has officially filed for divorce from her husband of 27 years, fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli. Court documents obtained by People reveal Loughlin submitted the filing on September 4, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for the separation.

The couple, who married in 1997, signed a prenuptial agreement before their wedding and amended it in 2015. They share two daughters: Isabella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26.

According to reports, the marriage has been strained since Loughlin and Giannulli both served prison time for their involvement in the 2020 college admissions scandal. Both pleaded guilty to charges related to securing fraudulent admission for their daughters to the University of Southern California as purported crew recruits.

Sources close to the couple have indicated ongoing tension, with one source telling People in January that Giannulli still loved Loughlin, while a source in Loughlin's camp stated she remained "extremely angry" at him. Following the announcement of their separation last year, Loughlin's "Full House" co-star John Stamos defended her, characterizing Giannulli as a "terrible narcissist" and asserting that Giannulli had dragged Loughlin into the scandal.
