Social media personalities Livvy Dunne and Olivia Ponton recently shared a TikTok video where Dunne demonstrated the iconic "Baywatch" slow-motion run for Ponton.
In the video, the two influencers, dressed in matching striped swimsuits, embraced the "Baywatch" theme. Ponton introduced Dunne as a "Baywatch baddie" who would teach her the "sexy on-the-beach strut." Dunne outlined three principles for the run: "fluff up your hair, get it on point," "fluff up what you got, get it on point," and finally, "mog and run."
After practicing the steps together in the water, Ponton attempted the run, with Dunne acting as "the inspo." Ponton's initial attempts were met with laughter, but she successfully completed the slow-motion jog on her fourth try. Dunne remarked that she would be "pretty happy if you saved me," playfully referencing the lifeguard theme.
This is not the first time Dunne has recreated the "Baywatch" run. She previously guided a wig-wearing Jimmy Fallon through the technique on "The Tonight Show" in May. Dunne also shared an update in early August on Instagram, indicating she had finished filming for the season, writing, "officially off duty… season 1 it’s been real ;) 🎞️🛟" while wearing a red bathing suit.
Dunne has been involved with the "Baywatch" reboot, with photos surfacing in March of her on Venice Beach with co-stars Brooks Nadar, Stephen Amell, and Noah Beck. She captioned a post from that time, "I only run in slow motion now."
