Actress and presenter Lisa Faulkner has announced she has received an "all clear" following surgery for breast cancer two weeks ago. Faulkner, 54, shared the update with her Instagram followers, stating that doctors had successfully removed all of the cancer.

"It's all good, they've got everything out, so it's all clear and I just need some radiotherapy in a few weeks," Faulkner said. She described the diagnosis as being in the "very early stages" and that she had undergone a "quite big op." Faulkner added that while she still has "quite a bit of healing to do," she is "good, I'm well. And feeling so much better."

Faulkner urged her followers to attend their mammogram appointments, emphasizing the importance of early detection. "I'm so grateful that I went for my mammogram. Don't put them off, go, because they found this - without this mammogram, it wouldn't have been picked up," she stated. She also expressed gratitude for the National Health Service (NHS) and its provision of mammograms and early treatment.

Faulkner is known for her roles in television dramas such as "EastEnders," "Holby City," and "Spooks." She is also a food writer and is married to chef John Torode. The couple previously hosted the ITV cooking show "John & Lisa's Weekend Kitchen."
