Lila Moss has channeled her supermodel mother, Kate Moss, by recreating an iconic Glastonbury Festival look for a special musical festival edition of Vogue Spain. The 23-year-old model posed in a metallic sleeveless mini dress by Alaia, an ensemble that echoed her mother's renowned 2005 Glastonbury outfit. Kate Moss's original look, featuring a gold knitted dress paired with mud-splattered black Hunter wellington boots, has since become a memorable festival fashion moment.
Moss, the daughter of Kate Moss, shared that she was a veteran of the festival scene by the age of four. She recalled one of her earliest memories taking place at the Isle of Wight Festival in 2007, where she met her mother and the late singer Amy Winehouse. "I remember going backstage and giving Amy Winehouse a tattoo on her arm with a marker," Lila Moss told the magazine.
Moss also reflected on her own past festival fashion choices, admitting to some regrets. "It was my first day at Glastonbury and was wearing striped jeans. I don't like them, but I thought they were cute then," she said.
Now attending festivals with friends, Moss recently visited the Primavera Sound festival in Barcelona. She acknowledged the advantage of having access to her mother's extensive fashion archives. "I'll find something in my mum's wardrobe – borrowing a T-shirt – then I'll see something and say, 'Wait, can I borrow that for Glastonbury?' months in advance," she previously stated.
Moss's career in modeling began with her runway debut for Miu Miu in 2020, managed by her mother's fashion agency. She has since featured in campaigns for major brands including Gucci, Fendi, and YSL Beauty.
