Leonardo DiCaprio appeared noticeably different in glasses as he and girlfriend Vittoria Ceretti left an exclusive afterparty following the Los Angeles premiere of his new film One Battle After Another on Monday night.

The 50-year-old actor was photographed slipping into the back of a car with Ceretti, a model represented by Society Management who is 27. Photographers captured Ceretti at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood supporting DiCaprio on the red carpet earlier in the evening; the couple did not pose together on the carpet and have not publicly declared a formal red-carpet relationship.

Ceretti, who stands about 5-foot-10, wore a white maxi dress with side cut-outs and a thigh-high slit, paired with black pumps. DiCaprio and Ceretti were first publicly linked after being photographed on an ice-cream date in August 2023. Reports at the time said the meeting followed Ceretti’s reported divorce from DJ Matteo Milleri. Ceretti, who has about 1.9 million followers on social media, told Vogue France in April that being identified primarily as a partner of someone with a larger public profile can be frustrating.

DiCaprio was in Los Angeles for the world premiere of One Battle After Another, directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. DiCaprio plays Bob Ferguson in the $175 million production, which adapts Thomas Pynchon’s 1990 novel Vineland into a contemporary action thriller. The ensemble cast includes Teyana Taylor, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, Alana Haim and newcomer Chase Infiniti. The film is scheduled for wide release in the United States on Sept. 26.

Early critical responses to the film at its premiere were strongly positive. Steven Spielberg, speaking to the director on Sunday, called the movie "insane," saying the first hour contains more action than many other films he had seen and praising the film’s blend of the bizarre and the relevant. DiCaprio told The Hollywood Reporter that working with Anderson is an opportunity actors generally welcome, calling the director “one of the great visionary filmmakers” of his generation.

DiCaprio’s attendance at the premiere and the subsequent afterparty comes amid ongoing attention to his personal life. Over the years, the actor has been linked to several high-profile partners, including models and performers such as Gigi Hadid, Camila Morrone, Nina Agdal, Kelly Rohrbach, Gisele Bündchen, Bar Refaeli, Rihanna and Blake Lively.

The premiere represents a key moment in the promotional run for Anderson’s film, which combines action elements with the source novel’s postmodern themes. Studio and festival reaction at the Los Angeles premiere, together with comments from peers and early reviews, suggest the film is expected to be a major release this awards season as it moves toward its theatrical opening later this month.
