Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, model Vittoria Ceretti, attended an exclusive afterparty in Los Angeles following the world premiere of DiCaprio’s new film One Battle After Another on Monday night.
The Oscar winner, 50, was photographed leaving the event wearing glasses and was discreetly joined in the back of a car by Ceretti, who is 23 years his junior. Ceretti, a Society Management model, supported DiCaprio at the TCL Chinese Theatre on the night of the premiere; the pair have not appeared on the red carpet together as an official couple.
At the premiere, Ceretti wore a white maxi dress with side cut-outs and a thigh-high slit, accompanied by black pumps. Fashion credits for the appearance included stylist Dena Neustadter Giannini. DiCaprio, who heads Appian Way Productions, stars in One Battle After Another as Bob Ferguson, a washed-up revolutionary in Paul Thomas Anderson’s modern adaptation of Thomas Pynchon’s 1990 novel Vineland.
The film, produced on a reported $175 million budget, features an ensemble cast that includes Teyana Taylor, Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, Alana Haim and newcomer Chase Infiniti. Early critical response at the premiere was largely positive. Filmmaker Steven Spielberg told Anderson, "What an insane movie, oh my God. There is more action in the first hour of this than every other film you've ever directed put together. Everything, it is really incredible," according to accounts from the event.
DiCaprio praised working with Anderson in interviews surrounding the premiere, calling him one of the "great visionary filmmakers" of his generation and citing Anderson's earlier films — including The Master, Boogie Nights and There Will Be Blood — as enduring work that motivates actors to collaborate with him.
DiCaprio and Ceretti were first photographed together in August 2023 during an ice-cream outing in Milan, two months after Ceretti's reported divorce from DJ Matteo Milleri. Though the couple has kept a low public profile, Ceretti included brief glimpses of DiCaprio in social media slideshows earlier this year. In a Vogue France cover story published last April, Ceretti commented on public labels for those in relationships with high-profile partners, saying, "As soon as you're in a relationship with someone who has a larger following than you, you become 'girlfriend of' — or 'boyfriend of' for that matter. And that can be extremely annoying."
One Battle After Another is scheduled for release in U.S. theaters on Sept. 26. The Los Angeles premiere and subsequent afterparty capped a weekend of publicity for the film, which industry observers have noted blends action and satire in a contemporary adaptation of Pynchon's novel.
