Leni Klum attributes her comfort level while modeling lingerie to her mother, supermodel Heidi Klum. The 22-year-old model stated in a recent interview with Daily Front Row that she feels "very comfortable in my body" and that "growing up with a mom who was comfortable with her body made it easy for me to be comfortable with my body."
Heidi Klum's presence on set for Leni's first Intimissimi shoot at age 18 helped ease her initial nerves. "I was always a little nervous at first, so it was great to have her on set," Leni shared. However, she recalled experiencing significant anxiety before her German Vogue cover shoot in 2021, despite the wardrobe consisting of an oversized suit.
"I was so scared. I was freaking out on the morning of [shooting] it," Leni said, adding that she was more nervous about the interview portion than the posing. "It wasn’t just posing in front of the camera. Luckily, my mom held my hand the whole time."
Leni described her relationship with her mother as being "best friends," with daily conversations and video calls. She also shared a humorous anecdote about Heidi occasionally posting Leni's modeling photos on social media before their official release, prompting Leni to stop sending her advance copies.
In some of her recent modeling work, Leni has posed in a studio setting that included a pool. For one shoot, she wore a Chanel jacket and skirt without a shirt, and for another, she donned a feather bustier and maxi skirt from Prabal Gurung while balancing on an oversized umbrella.
