Lee Andrews, 43, has asserted that he has secured a cameo role in the British television soap opera EastEnders. This claim comes despite Andrews being unable to depart from Dubai due to an existing travel ban and ongoing financial entanglements.
In a video shared on the Cameo platform, Andrews stated that he has been in communication with EastEnders' casting director and is anticipating upcoming projects. "Between you and me, I've got a little cameo coming on EastEnders. I'm trying to get Kate on there as well," Andrews said. He further elaborated, "Let me get to England, let's do it. Me in the Queen Vic, you know, 'Get out of my pub,' I'll do it."
However, a source has reportedly told The Daily Mail that there are no current plans for Lee Andrews to appear on the show.
Andrews was recently released from Al-Awir prison in Dubai, where he was held for a month on fraud allegations. He maintains he was apprehended at gunpoint and suspected of espionage. He was also recently reunited with his wife, Katie Price, who traveled to Dubai to meet him.
The claims of an EastEnders role follow previous assertions made by Andrews. On Father's Day, he claimed to have "adopted" Katie Price's five children, despite never having met them. A source told The Metro that this claim was "categorically untrue." Andrews has yet to meet his wife's elder children, Princess, 18, Junior, 21, and Harvey, 24, though he has reportedly spoken with them via FaceTime.
Andrews is also reportedly involved in a high-stakes property dispute in Dubai. Court documents cited by The Sun indicate he is the primary defendant in a case brought before the Dubai Court by claimant Alexander Keya. An accounting expert has been assigned to conduct a financial examination of the situation. The court ordered this review on July 15 of the previous year, with a remote judicial meeting scheduled later that month.
Further documents suggest that Andrews faces potential re-imprisonment within 14 days if he fails to settle outstanding debts. These debts reportedly include £54,000 for a rental car and £15,000 owed to a United Arab Emirates legal firm. While it is understood that he is not actively sought by police at this time, the debts must be paid within the specified two-week period.
Andrews had previously hinted at potential television appearances, including a FaceTime call with his wife for a potential role.
