Lauren Sanchez and her husband, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, attended an invite-only 72 Magazine event at the Four Seasons Hotel in New York on Friday night during New York Fashion Week, where Sanchez wore a low-cut satin dress and the couple left the event holding hands, Daily Mail reported.

Sanchez, 55, paired a short white satin dress with a brown leather jacket and strappy nude heels, and styled her hair in a voluminous blowout with smokey eye makeup and a nude lip, the report said. Bezos, 61, wore a black suit and dress shirt with silver aviator sunglasses and beaded bracelets. The pair were photographed together as they arrived and departed the event.

The outing came a day after Sanchez and Bezos attended the Kering Foundation's fourth annual "Caring for Women" dinner, where Sanchez posed for photographs with former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and other attendees, the report said. Photos shared on Sanchez's Instagram showed her standing with Wintour and mingling with guests including director Baz Luhrmann and model Georgina Rodriguez.

Sanchez drew public attention earlier this summer when she appeared on a Vogue digital cover wearing her custom Dolce & Gabbana wedding dress following her marriage to Bezos in Venice. The three-day wedding in June drew numerous celebrity guests and was widely reported to be a high-budget affair. Wintour was reportedly invited to the wedding but did not attend because of prior travel plans, Page Six reported.

Speculation has circulated within fashion-industry coverage that Bezos could be a potential buyer of Condé Nast, Vogue's parent company, a possibility first reported in several outlets after Sanchez's Vogue appearance. A source told The Mail on Sunday that industry conversations included whether a sale might be in the works and linked Sanchez's cover placement to broader business discussions. Those reports also noted that Anna Wintour, who stepped down as Vogue editor-in-chief in late June, retained influence at the title and that Chloe Malle has since taken over as U.S. Vogue editor.

Bezos previously purchased The Washington Post in 2013 for $250 million, a transaction often cited in coverage about his capacity for large media acquisitions. Representatives for Sanchez, Bezos and Condé Nast did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The New York Fashion Week event was hosted by British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful and was described in coverage as an invite-only gathering that drew fashion industry figures and celebrities. Photos and posts from the weekend underscore the continued blending of tech, media and fashion worlds at high-profile social events in New York.

Sanchez and Bezos have maintained a visible public profile since their wedding in June, appearing at philanthropic and fashion-related events and sharing select images from those appearances on social media. Coverage of their appearances has often included discussion of Sanchez's fashion choices and the couple's connections within the fashion and media industries.
