The Latitude Festival has secured its home at Henham Park in Suffolk for the next 25 years, with a new lease agreement extending its stay until 2051. Festival founder Melvin Benn announced the deal, which ensures the event's continuity at the scenic location.

Latitude was first launched in 2006, starting as a smaller event with a peak daily attendance of 4,500. From its inception, the festival has featured a diverse range of performances, including literature, poetry, dance, theatre, and science, alongside its musical offerings. The current site at Henham Park has been integral to the festival's growth and development over its 20-year history.

Benn revealed the signing of the new 25-year lease during a discussion on stage with Professor George McKay of the University of East Anglia. This long-term commitment underscores the festival's established presence and its anticipated future at Henham Park. The agreement solidifies Latitude's position as a prominent fixture in the UK's cultural calendar, allowing for continued planning and investment in the event.
