Lady Gaga and her fiancé, Michael Polansky, have been seen with their newborn child for the first time since news of the baby's arrival was confirmed. The couple was photographed in Northern California, with Gaga carrying the infant.

The singer, 40, wore loose white pants and an oversized coat, shielding her eyes with dark sunglasses, while Polansky, 42, appeared casual in shorts and a hoodie. Gaga was observed keeping a protective hand over the newborn during the outing.

This sighting offers a first glimpse into the couple's new life as parents. Gaga had largely stayed out of the public eye in recent months following the conclusion of her Mayhem Ball tour in April. Although she kept her journey to parenthood private, the Grammy winner had previously expressed her desire to become a mother.

In a March 2025 interview with The New York Times, Gaga stated, "I’m excited to be a mom. I used to have a lot of apprehension about it." She also reflected on the challenges of balancing impending motherhood with a career that has long centered around her. "I’m also kind of at war with myself sometimes as I get ready to, hopefully, become a mom soon," she told the outlet. "Like, today is wonderful, but the whole day has revolved around me. There’s an incredible amount of narcissism in this."

A source close to Gaga told Page Six that the singer has not had a private life since she was 22 and that she has been laying low since the tour ended, noting that Polansky's presence provides a safe space for her.
