Lady Eliza Spencer has offered a glimpse into her potential wedding plans with businessman Channing Millerd during a recent trip to Italy. The niece of the late Princess Diana posted a series of images on Instagram from the luxurious Palazzo Avino resort on the Amalfi Coast, where she was seen wearing a personalized white one-piece swimsuit.
The swimsuit featured floral straps and was adorned with the words 'Future Mrs M,' a clear nod to her fiancé. Spencer, 34, captioned the post, "Wedding venue hunting begins... @palazzoavino you have completely stolen our hearts," indicating that the Italian coast is a strong contender for their destination wedding.
The striking 'Lila' swimsuit, from the brand ALT, retails for £150 and features an open back. Her twin sister, Lady Amelia Spencer, reacted to the post with excitement, while Greg Mallett, who introduced the couple in 2016, commented on Spencer's appearance.
The couple has previously expressed a desire for a destination wedding, with Lake Como mentioned as another possibility. However, details surrounding the wedding have remained private.
Millerd proposed to Spencer last July in Santorini during a romantic candlelit dinner. The engagement ring, valued at approximately £40,000, features a 2.5-carat, pear-shaped diamond sourced from South Africa. The design of the ring reportedly pays tribute to Spencer's aunt, Princess Diana, by incorporating a halo setting similar to that of Diana's engagement ring.
Spencer, whose father is Charles Spencer, Earl Spencer, moved to South Africa in 1995 to escape media attention. She and Millerd have been together for nine years, and their relationship is described by Spencer as strong, loving, and supportive, built on trust and shared values.
The couple held an engagement party in Cape Town in January, attended by close friends and family, including her mother, Victoria Aitken, and sisters Lady Amelia and Lady Kitty. Notably absent from the celebration was Charles Spencer, amid reports of a strained relationship with his children, as he also did not attend the weddings of Lady Kitty and Lady Amelia.
