Twenty-eight years after her debut as Samantha Jones in "Sex and the City," Kim Cattrall continues to capture attention for her striking appearance as she approaches her 70th birthday. The actress has shared her perspective on aging, noting a shift in her philosophy over the years. While she once aimed to "embrace aging," Cattrall now admits to "battling aging in every way I can," incorporating treatments like Botox and fillers.

Cattrall views these procedures as professional necessities for her roles, stating, "I play a certain kind of woman who looks a certain kind of way. And professionally I am looking after myself." She emphasizes the importance of finding a qualified surgeon and ensuring that cosmetic enhancements result in a look that still resembles oneself, aiming to achieve "the best version" of herself.

Her skincare routine includes products featuring vitamin C, peptides, and retinol, which she uses for added support. Cattrall's approach to makeup has also evolved, with a preference for less product in her daily life, prioritizing sunscreen and moisturizer to allow her skin to breathe. "As I get older, less really is a lot more," she told People. "I don't want to start wearing a lot of makeup."

To maintain her figure, Cattrall engages in regular physical activity. She incorporates cardio exercises three to four times a week and practices "physio yoga," a blend of physiotherapy and yoga, to manage past injuries. She finds that less strenuous activities like long walks are as beneficial as jogging, and she also enjoys swimming. The actress credits physio yoga for helping to alleviate chronic knee pain stemming from stage rehearsals and filming.

Cattrall follows the anti-inflammatory Perricone Diet and enjoys a varied diet that includes pasta, meat, and vegetables. She maintains awareness of her eating habits, particularly when preparing for roles that require weight fluctuations. "I have a big appetite and I like to eat, and staying on top of that is about knowing myself and saying, 'I can eat that today, but tomorrow I'm not going to'," she said.

Reflecting on her 60s, Cattrall highlighted patience and appreciating her accomplishments. She also stressed the importance of surrounding herself with supportive individuals and valuing friendships and mentorship, noting that "knowledge, you can't find in a doctor's office."
