Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards, 82, has become a grandfather for the eighth time. His daughter, Theodora Richards, 41, announced the birth of her second child, a son named Tarka Nathaniel Richards Burnett, who was born on April 9, 2026.
Theodora shared the news on social media, stating that Tarka has been part of their lives for nearly five months. She also mentioned that Tarka and his older brother, Augustus, born in May 2024, are "fierce best bro buds." Theodora and her partner, Oscar Burnett, expressed their happiness as their family continues to grow.
This marks Richards' eighth grandchild. The musician, who has five children, also became a great-grandfather for the first time in May 2026 when his granddaughter Ella, 30, welcomed a daughter named Luna.
Ella is the daughter of Marlon Richards, Richards' eldest son with the late model Anita Pallenberg. Ella's mother is former model and stylist Lucie de la Falaise. Ella's boyfriend, Sascha, is from a notable European aristocratic family, being the younger brother of photographer Count Nikolai von Bismarck and a descendant of German statesman Otto von Bismarck.
