Kayla Nicole is setting her sights on the dance floor, with sources indicating she would be interested in a role on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." The desire for a spot on the ballroom competition show follows a period of public attention surrounding her ex-boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his recent marriage to pop star Taylor Swift.

Nicole reportedly had an opportunity to discuss potential involvement with the show when she attended the inaugural TIME100 Sports Gala in New York City on July 16. At the event, she encountered Witney Carson, a professional dancer who has been a fixture on "DWTS" since 2013.

The upcoming 35th season of "Dancing With the Stars" is slated to premiere in September, with cast members Ciara Miller, Maura Higgins, Jackson Olson, and Guillermo Rodriguez already announced. The full cast reveal is scheduled for "Good Morning America" on September 2. However, if Nicole were to join the show, it would likely be for Season 36.

This potential move into competitive reality television would not be Nicole's first foray into the genre. She previously appeared on the third season of Fox's "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test," which aired in 2025, ultimately winning alongside "The Hills" alum Brody Jenner.

Speaking previously with Page Six, Nicole shared her enthusiasm for participating in reality television, stating her eagerness to showcase a "raw, vulnerable" side of herself to viewers. "I'm the opposite of being afraid of what people are going to see. I'm actually excited for people to see us stripped down, raw, vulnerable," she said.

Nicole also explored the possibility of becoming the next "Bachelorette" in March, following the cancellation of Taylor Frankie Paul's season. She created a TikTok video playfully auditioning for the role, listing made-up qualities for potential suitors.

The public interest in Nicole's career aspirations comes in the wake of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's wedding. The couple married in a ceremony at New York City's Madison Square Garden on July 3. Nicole, who had an on-again, off-again relationship with Kelce for five years before their final breakup in May 2022, posted a photo of a sunset view during the same period as the wedding.

Nicole has reflected on her past relationship with Kelce in public forums. During her time on "Special Forces," she described her "overwhelming" described her "public breakup" with Kelce. In February, she stated on a TikTok live that Kelce was the "right person, wrong time" while discussing their split, adding that "compatibility issues" might have played a role.
