Katie Price is reported to be preparing for a reunion with her two youngest children, Jett and Bunny, who are expected to return to live with her full time in November after several years apart, according to a source who spoke to the Daily Mail.
The former glamour model has recently moved from a rented property in Sussex to a three-bedroom conversion closer to her former home known as the "Mucky Mansion," a relocation her representatives say is intended to place her nearer to the area where the children’s father lives and where the children’s friends are based.
According to the report, none of Price’s five children have lived with her since 2022. Her eldest son, Harvey, 23, lives in a care home because of his disabilities. Junior, 20, and Princess, 18, are living independently as they transition to adulthood. Price’s two youngest children moved to live with their father, Kieran Hayler, in 2022 amid a breakdown in the parents’ relationship.
Price has publicly described the period away from her youngest children as one of the hardest things she has faced. In her Channel 4 documentary Katie Price: Trauma And Me, she said that not seeing Jett and Bunny daily had been damaging to her and to the children’s mental health. She has also spoken about the emotional strain of being excluded from Princess’s ITV reality series, The Princess Diaries, and being omitted from her daughter’s 18th birthday celebrations.
Legal disputes and family tensions have shaped Price’s access to her children. The parent-child living arrangements changed after Price breached a restraining order relating to messages sent to Hayler’s then-fiancée, Michelle Penticost. Price pleaded guilty to breaching the order and was given an 18-month community order with 170 hours of unpaid work at Lewes Crown Court, a sentence that was widely reported in 2022. The restraining order had been imposed in 2019 and prohibited Price from contacting Penticost directly or indirectly.
The move back toward her former neighbourhood is described by the source as ‘‘perfect timing’’ for the return of Jett and Bunny. Price reportedly placed a £5,192 deposit on the new three-bedroom property, which is a conversion featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, vaulted ceilings, a large kitchen and living area with a wood-burning stove and a mezzanine sitting room.
Those close to Price say she intends to keep her youngest children largely out of the public eye. The source told the Daily Mail that Price is ‘‘very careful about Instagram and children these days’’ and does not plan to feature them prominently in her social media or media projects.
The reported reunion comes amid ongoing tensions between Price and members of her extended family and former partners. Price had hoped to be involved in her daughter Princess’s management but was reportedly passed over in favour of her ex-husband Peter Andre’s chosen agent. Price and the agent are said to have a strained relationship.
Price’s personal life has included several high-profile relationships. She married Hayler in 2013; they separated after his admitted affairs and divorced in 2021. Hayler subsequently became engaged to Michelle Penticost; that relationship was reported to have ended earlier this year. Price has since been linked with JJ Slater, who appeared on Channel 4’s Married At First Sight.
Representatives for Price did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The family’s plans for the children’s schooling, privacy arrangements and public exposure were not detailed in the report. The return of Jett and Bunny to Price’s care, if confirmed, would mark the first time in several years that any of her five children would be living with her full time.
