Kate Hudson, 47, was observed enjoying a sun-drenched family vacation on the Greek island of Skiathos alongside her fiancé, Danny Fujikawa, and their seven-year-old daughter, Rani Rose. The outing on Friday marked a period of leisure for the actress, who recently starred in the musical drama "Song Sung Blue."
Hudson embraced the sunny weather, seen paddling a kayak in the Aegean Sea. At one point, Rani Rose joined her mother on the watercraft. Fujikawa also participated in water activities, kayaking separately while clad in swim trunks and a baseball cap. The family also engaged in a game of beach volleyball, with Hudson and her daughter seen tossing a ball back and forth.
Hudson, who has been with Fujikawa for 10 years and engaged since 2021, has often expressed her appreciation for beach vacations and maintaining an active lifestyle. She has previously spoken about her positive outlook on aging, stating that she doesn't dwell on the past and is focused on the present. Her mother, Goldie Hawn, has also influenced her perspective, instilling a "fearless" attitude.
The actress also touched on the challenges of the film industry, noting that projects she believes in often face an uphill battle for studio support. Hudson, who has two other sons, Ryder and Bingham, from previous relationships, is also currently starring in the Netflix comedy series "Running Point."
