New York Knicks player Karl-Anthony Towns and model Jordyn Woods were married on Saturday during a black-tie ceremony in Malibu, California. The couple exchanged vows at an outdoor venue with views of the Pacific Ocean, decorated with white florals.
Woods wore a strapless, floor-length white gown with a chiffon train and a lace scarf around her collarbone. Towns donned a classic black tuxedo. Among the notable guests were Kylie Jenner, Timothée Chalamet, Justin and Hailey Bieber, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Teyana Taylor, Gayle King, Michael B. Jordan, and Ben Stiller and Christine Taylor. Several of Towns' Knicks teammates, including OG Anunoby, Jalen Brunson, and Josh Hart, were also in attendance.
Guests received custom hoodies reading "Married in 5" and party favors from Fanatics. Attendees were asked to wear black to the nuptials.
Woods, 28, and Towns, 30, began their relationship in 2020 after meeting through mutual friends. They made their relationship Instagram-official in September 2020. Towns alluded to overcoming significant challenges, including a serious car accident in 2019 that left him with a "5 percent chance" of survival, and the death of his mother due to COVID-19 complications in April 2020.
Woods also experienced personal loss with the death of her father, John Woods, in 2017. An insider noted that their shared experiences strengthened their bond. Towns has publicly expressed gratitude for Woods' support during these difficult times, highlighting her presence through his mother's death, his car accident, rehabilitation, and a bout with COVID-19.
Woods has been a visible supporter of Towns' basketball career, often seen courtside. She was present when Towns helped the Knicks secure the NBA Finals championship in 2026, their first title in 53 years. The couple maintained their relationship through long-distance travel when Towns played for the Minnesota Timberwolves until 2024, before they moved to New York together after his signing with the Knicks.
Towns and Woods announced their engagement on Christmas Day, sharing a joint Instagram post. The engagement photos showcased the proposal and Woods displaying her emerald-cut diamond ring.
