Kaleb Cooper, the breakout star of Amazon's "Clarkson's Farm," has shared the first details of his upcoming summer wedding to Taya Wilkinson. The ceremony, described by Cooper as a "big do" with a large guest list, will blend elements of theater, television, and farming communities.
While Wilkinson has taken the lead on most of the wedding preparations, including selecting her dress, Cooper has insisted on incorporating farm machinery into the celebration. "I want tractors there, I want foragers there," Cooper stated in an exclusive interview, acknowledging that his fiancée is less enthusiastic about the idea. "But Taya's like I don't really want tractors there if I'm being honest, and I'm going, you haven't really got a choice!"
The couple, who have been together for 10 years and have three children – Oscar, five, Willa, three, and Ashton, born last August – plan to marry at a local venue before hosting a larger party back at a farm. Cooper described the reception as a "feral farm wedding."
Jeremy Clarkson, Cooper's employer and mentor, is expected to attend the wedding. Following his recent announcement that his prostate cancer is in remission, Cooper expressed his admiration for Clarkson's resilience. "He's got a strong mind on him," Cooper said, noting he had been by Clarkson's side throughout his illness. Clarkson's Hawkstone brewery will provide an unlimited supply of drinks for the guests.
Cooper's rise to fame began with "Clarkson's Farm," which is now in its fifth series. His media earnings have contributed significantly to his personal fortune, with his company, Kaleb Cooper Productions, seeing its accounts swell from £242,000 in 2023 to £817,000 last year. Despite his growing wealth, Cooper is focused on saving to purchase his own farm in the Cotswolds, where property prices are high.
Cooper's entrepreneurial spirit was forged early in life, partly due to his parents' divorce when he was a teenager, which led him to take on financial responsibilities. He left school early, worked on dairy farms, and studied agriculture before becoming a contractor for local farms, including Diddly Squat before Clarkson's arrival.
In addition to his wedding plans, Cooper is set to star in a new four-part series later this year that will see him travel to Australia to explore local farming methods. This solo international travel marks a significant step for Cooper, who has previously only traveled outside Britain once for a road trip with Clarkson to the Netherlands.
