Juno Temple, known for her role as Keeley Jones in the Apple TV+ series "Ted Lasso," has revealed she is secretly married to her longtime boyfriend, Michal Szymanski. The actress shared the news during a TFI Unplugged Special event while promoting the upcoming season of the popular show.
Temple, 37, met Szymanski, a Polish actor, during the filming of "Ted Lasso" season two. Szymanski was working as a driver for Temple's co-star Hannah Waddingham, who plays Rebecca Welton in the series. Waddingham confirmed she played a role in connecting the couple, stating that Temple asked if she could ask Szymanski on a date and that she gave her approval.
"I got married, we met on season two of Ted Lasso," Temple said during the promotional event, adding that they have also purchased a house together. Waddingham described their relationship as "the greatest oxygen to each other in the universe."
Temple recounted how she and Szymanski developed a method to meet, with Waddingham's "appointments" sometimes running over to facilitate their encounters.
The couple publicly confirmed their relationship in May 2022 at the UK premiere of "Top Gun: Maverick." Since then, they have attended several high-profile events together, including the Emmy Awards, the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, and the premiere of "Venom: The Last Dance."
Temple's career began at age 17 with a role in "St Trinian's," followed by parts in "Wild Child," "The Other Boleyn Girl," and "Maleficent." In 2013, she received the EE Rising Star Award after a supporting role in "The Dark Knight." More recently, she has appeared in the Paramount+ miniseries "The Offer" and the fifth season of "Fargo." Her upcoming projects include voicing a character in the 2026 Netflix film "Swapped."
"Ted Lasso" season four is set to premiere on August 5, with the trailer teasing a potential rekindling of the romance between Keeley Jones and Roy Kent, played by Brett Goldstein.
