Julia and Lorenzo have been crowned the winners of Love Island series 13, taking home the £50,000 cash prize. Host Maya Jama announced the couple's victory in the season finale, revealing they had secured the highest percentage of the public vote.

Jasmin and Kavan were declared the runners-up, while Simba and Angelista finished in third place. The final episode also saw Yasmin and Tommy narrowly miss out on a spot in the top three after being dumped from the villa.

This marked a departure from the show's usual format, as it was the first time a couple was eliminated during the final itself. Yasmin and Tommy's exit followed a decision by dumped couple Mica and Samraj, who were themselves eliminated by ex-Islanders, to choose two more pairs to leave.

Mica and Samraj explained their reasoning for voting Yasmin and Tommy out, citing questions about Tommy's intentions for entering the villa so soon after a breakup. Tommy addressed his departure, stating that despite the sadness of leaving new friends, he had found a partner in the villa and was happy with the experience.

Yasmin also reflected on her exit, describing it as a "plot twist" but ultimately accepting the decision. She noted that while the dumping was a surprise, she felt ready to leave the villa and experience life outside. Mica and Samraj's own elimination came after a majority vote from former contestants who felt they did not deserve a place in the final. Mica expressed gratitude for Samraj's support during her time on the show, emphasizing their strong connection. Samraj added that while they had been up for elimination multiple times, this instance felt different, and he was content to leave with Mica, looking forward to proving doubters wrong about their relationship.
