Actress Jodie Sweetin, known for her role in "Full House," has revealed an unconventional sleeping arrangement with her husband of four years, Mescal Wasilewski. The couple sleeps in two twin beds pushed together to form a king-size bed, each with its own duvet. Sweetin, 44, shared this detail on a recent episode of the "Good Guys" podcast, explaining that the setup prevents nighttime disputes over blankets.
"I’m telling you — that is the smallest, biggest difference," Sweetin told podcast hosts Josh Peck and Ben Soffer. "I can roll over and wrap myself up like a burrito, he can do whatever, and we’re not fighting over it in the middle of the night. So no one wakes up angry that they’re cold."
Sweetin, who married Wasilewski, 56, in 2022, suggested that sleeping arrangements, rather than intimacy, are often the source of marital friction. She described her husband as a "lightest, worst sleeper," contrasting with her own ability to sleep soundly once asleep.
"My husband is the lightest, worst sleeper," she said of the clinic social worker. "Once I’m out — takes me a minute to go out — and once I’m out, I’m dead to the world." She added that Wasilewski can be easily disturbed, noting, "There could be bombs going off, and nothing. He, you know, a mouse whispers downstairs and he’s like, ‘Oh my god! I heard it,'" indicating that sharing a bed with him could be a "nightmare."
Earlier in the podcast, Sweetin described herself and Wasilewski as "very independent people." She mentioned their shared dream of owning property where they could each have their own tiny homes, with a communal space in between.
Having been married four times previously, Sweetin joked on the podcast that she has learned the value of personal space. Her previous marriages were to Shaun Holguin (2002-2006), Cody Herpin (2007-2010), and Morty Coyle (2012-2016). She has two daughters: Zoie, 18, from her marriage to Herpin, and Beatrix, 15, from her marriage to Coyle.
Sweetin and Wasilewski exchanged vows in July 2022 in Malibu, California, six months after becoming engaged. Following their wedding, Sweetin expressed her gratitude for finding the right partner, telling People magazine, "I know I have the right partner for the rest of whatever life brings me. And I couldn’t be more grateful."
