Veteran actresses Joan Collins and Elizabeth Hurley recently reunited for lunch in St. Tropez, with Collins, 93, humorously remarking on spending Hurley's money. The pair, who share a decades-long friendship and co-starred as mother and daughter in the E! series "The Royals," were joined by Hurley's son, Damian Hurley, 24, and her boyfriend of over a year, Billy Ray Cyrus, 64.
Collins shared a video clip on Instagram from the outing at Club 55, captioning it with hashtags including their names and the location. In the video, Collins playfully stated, "Here I am, with all my friends and we're all spending her money. So happy, whatever day it is." Hurley responded affectionately, calling Collins "mummy dearest," to which Collins quipped, "Forget the mummy."
Collins has owned a villa in St. Tropez for approximately three decades, spending a portion of each summer there. Over her career, she has spoken about her approach to maintaining her appearance and figure.
She has previously stated that her regimen has nothing to do with Botox or plastic surgery. "No knives. Had Botox once, years ago. Hated it. I'm an actress, I have to have expression," she was quoted as saying. Collins advocates for eating less as one ages, suggesting one needs half the food at 50 that was consumed at 25, and even less at 75. She has expressed a desire to live to 100 and emphasizes skincare, advising to always wear makeup when leaving the house and to avoid tap water.
For weight management, she suggested a short-term diet of "broccoli and boiled eggs" if needing to lose a few pounds quickly. Her exercise routine has evolved over the years, from energetic dancing in her youth to gym workouts and Pilates. However, she noted that the body cannot withstand the same stress as one gets older and recently experienced limited mobility due to a trapped nerve.
