Jess Glynne performed at BST Hyde Park on Friday while wearing a red leather trench coat, tights, and knee-high boots, despite the UK experiencing a significant heatwave with temperatures reaching 34C. The "Hold My Hand" hitmaker layered the coat over a glittering brown bodysuit and completed her look with sunglasses.

Other artists performing on the day included OneRepublic and Ella Eyre, with Maroon 5 serving as the headline act.

This performance follows recent reports that Glynne parted ways with Jay-Z's management company, Roc Nation, approximately 18 months after her split from record label EMI. She reportedly signed with Roc Nation three years prior to this latest move. It is understood that she is now receiving guidance from Craig Logan of Logan Media Entertainment, joining artists such as Pink, Dido, Louise, and Beverley Knight on his roster.

An insider suggested that Glynne has faced challenges in finding a team that understands her vision. The move to Logan's firm is seen as bringing fresh perspectives.

Earlier in the year, Glynne's career faced a setback when her first album in nearly six years did not achieve significant chart success. The album, titled "Jess," was released in April 2024 and debuted at number six before quickly falling out of the charts. Glynne had signed with EMI Records in 2022, a label also associated with artists like Taylor Swift and Rihanna. However, following the underperformance of singles from her album, the relationship between Glynne and the label reportedly concluded.

Sources indicated that while there was initial excitement about Glynne's signing with EMI, the partnership did not yield the expected results, with no singles reaching the Top 40. Glynne had been attempting to reintroduce herself to the public after a period away from the spotlight.

Her previous albums, "I Cry When I Laugh" (2015) and "Always In Between" (2018), both topped the UK charts and produced numerous hit singles. Glynne also received a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Recording for her collaboration on Clean Bandit's song "Rather Be" in 2015 and has collaborated with artists like Little Mix and Tinie Tempah, in addition to appearing as a judge on "The Voice Australia."
