Jennifer Aniston posted a slideshow of 18 photographs to Instagram on Sept. 8 that included the back of a man's head, which the Daily Mail reported on Tuesday as being author and life coach Jim Curtis.
The slideshow also included images of several dogs — Aniston's labrador Lord Chesterfield and schnauzer Clyde alongside a rescue dog identified by the Mail as Curtis's dog, Odie. A person described to the Mail as close to the pair said the actors' and Curtis's shared interest in rescue dogs has brought them closer.
Aniston, 56, tagged friends who appeared in the post, including Adam Sandler, Jason Bateman, Courteney Cox and Sean Hayes, but the Mail noted Curtis was not tagged. The actress has not publicly confirmed a romantic relationship with Curtis, 49.
Reports tying the two together date to July, when they were photographed together aboard a yacht in Mallorca. In late August the pair were observed entering the same SUV separately as they left a Manhattan dinner, and on Aug. 20 Entertainment Tonight captured Curtis at the periphery of an event where Aniston was promoting her haircare brand, LolaVie, which marked its fourth anniversary in early September.
A source quoted by the Mail said the couple "do everything together" and cited shared interests in meditation, yoga and therapy, in addition to rescue dogs. The Mail also reported that the couple's canine companions get along well, which the source said has helped their relationship.
Curtis is an author and self-described life coach who has written about his personal life. He previously dated television personality Bethenny Frankel and was married to Rachel Napolitano; the couple divorced after the birth of their son, Aidan. In a 2017 book, Curtis wrote that he struggled with maintaining long-term romantic relationships and that his relationship with his son was strained.
Aniston's high-profile relationships include marriages to Brad Pitt from 2000 to 2005 and Justin Theroux from 2015 to 2017. Her Instagram slideshow also included longtime friends and collaborators; her public social-media posts have often drawn attention when they feature fellow actors or close acquaintances.
Representatives for Aniston and Curtis did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The Daily Mail reported its identification of the silhouetted figure; the presence of Curtis in other public photographs and reports from July and August provide additional context but neither Aniston nor Curtis has issued a public statement confirming a relationship.
