Howard Stern has reportedly signed a significant deal with HBO Max that will allow the streamer to air video content from his SiriusXM show. The agreement is expected to result in condensed series derived from his interviews and on-air segments.

According to reports, HBO Max will feature video from Stern's weekly show, with plans to package it into either hour-long or 90-minute programs for the subscription service. This new venture coincides with a shift in Stern's broadcast schedule, as he is slated to perform live shows exclusively on Mondays.

This Monday-only schedule accounts for his delayed start to the season, as he typically begins his show the Tuesday after Labor Day. The strict adherence to a single live show day is reportedly to facilitate the production of video content for HBO Max.

The reported deal follows recent changes to Stern's SiriusXM presence, including the discontinuation of his Howard 101 channel. Earlier in the summer, approximately a dozen staffers were laid off from Stern's show as it transitioned to a single weekly broadcast. Severance packages were reportedly offered to the affected employees.

Stern, 72, signed a three-year contract with SiriusXM in December 2025, which he stated would provide him with greater flexibility. His previous five-year contract was valued at approximately $500 million. His wife, Beth Stern, has commented that his new schedule appears to be working well for him.

Earlier this year, Stern was involved in a lawsuit filed by a former assistant alleging a hostile work environment. The case was dismissed in its entirety by a New York State Supreme Court judge in July.
