The surprise horror hit "Obsession," which garnered significant attention for its low production cost and high box office returns, is now available for streaming on-demand.

The film, written, directed, and edited by emerging filmmaker Curry Barker, made its theatrical debut in May. It has since grossed over $370 million worldwide on a reported budget of just $750,000. "Obsession" marks Barker's feature film debut after gaining recognition for his work in YouTube sketch comedy.

The plot centers on a hopeless romantic, played by Michael Johnston, who breaks a mystical "One Wish Willow" to win the heart of his crush, Nikki Freeman, portrayed by Inde Navarrette. The logline suggests that while his wishes are granted, they come with unforeseen and dark consequences.

"Obsession" is available for digital purchase and rental on platforms such as Prime Video as of June 29. Consumers can purchase the film for $24.99 or rent it for $19.99. A free Amazon account is required for purchase, allowing viewers to rewatch the movie at their convenience. Rental options provide 30 days to start watching and 48 hours of viewing access once playback begins.

The cast includes Michael Johnston as Baron "Bear" Bailey, Inde Navarrette as Nikki Freeman, Cooper Tomlinson as Ian, and Megan Lawless as Sarah Harper. Andy Richter appears as Carter Harper, the boss of the music store where Bear works and Sarah's father. Haley Fitzgerald plays Viola, a crystal shop employee involved in the sale of the One Wish Willow, with Darin Toonder as another employee, Harry. Curry Barker also voices the customer service representative for the One Wish Willow.
