Hilary Duff is set to perform an original song for Warner Bros. Pictures Animation's upcoming "The Cat in the Hat" film, slated for theatrical release on November 6.
The track, titled "Catastrophe," will be featured in the animated adaptation of the classic Dr. Seuss story. The film stars Bill Hader as the voice of the titular feline character.

Duff's involvement comes during a period of significant career momentum. In February, she released her critically acclaimed album "Luck…or Something," her first in over a decade. She has since embarked on the "Small Rooms, Big Nerves" tour, playing smaller venues, and is currently undertaking her larger "Lucky Me" tour.
Recently, Duff also appeared on the cover of the "Sports Illustrated" swimsuit issue alongside Alix Earle, Tiffany Haddish, and Nicole Williams English.
The "Cat in the Hat" film boasts a voice cast that includes Xochitl Gomez, Matt Berry, Quinta Brunson, Paula Pell, Tiago Martinez, Giancarlo Esposito, America Ferrera, Bowen Yang, and Tituss Burgess. Quinta Brunson voices the character Sherri.
This film is part of Warner Bros. Animation's broader "Seussiverse" shared universe, which also plans to release a film adaptation of "Oh, the Places You’ll Go!" in 2028.
