Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has described herself as the "wicked witch" while opening up about the difficulties of single parenthood. The 36-year-old actress, who shares Matilda, 11, Delilah, eight, and five-year-old Charlie with ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair, detailed her experiences in a recent Instagram post.

Flanagan admitted to feeling "tired" and "overstimulated" and expressed weariness with her children's "arguing." Despite her struggles, she emphasized her deep love for her children. She also noted feeling "mum guilt" and being unable to catch up on work emails, app messages, or connect with friends.

Despite these challenges, Flanagan recently celebrated her 36th birthday in Lake Como, declaring, "I don't need a man." She shared moments from the trip with her daughter Delilah on social media, showcasing her enjoyment of a boat trip.

Reflecting on her single status over the past year, Flanagan has expressed that she is "more of a relationship girl" but refuses to settle for anything less than the right connection. She stated that she prefers to be alone if a suitable partner is not found.

Flanagan has frequently been open about the realities of single parenting and the "mum guilt" it can entail. She has credited her own mother, Julia, with providing significant assistance with childcare, including managing her children's schedules, homework, and daily tasks like washing and cooking, due to Flanagan's demanding work commitments. She stated that she would be lost without her mother's support.

In a new Instagram post, Helen detailed her hardship in raising them alone, admitting she feels 'tired' and 'overstimulated', while also 'sick of the arguing' among her children
