Persephone Ikonomoupoulou, a 24-year-old from Thessaloniki, Greece, gained widespread attention after Harry Styles paused his London concert to react to her sign, which read, "I sold feet pics to be here."

During the show, Styles was heard saying, "One second. I've been absolutely distracted. You sold feet pics to get here?" He then asked for her name and added, "Congratulations, I guess. So did I."

The interaction quickly spread across social media platforms, with many praising Ikonomoupoulou's determination to fund her concert trip. She explained that her sign was intended to highlight the rising cost of concert tickets, stating, "My sign should have said, 'Harry, you should lower your prices.'"

Concert ticket prices have increased significantly since the pandemic, with average prices rising by 42%. Harry Styles' "Love On Tour," including his shows at Wembley Stadium, has also faced criticism for its pricing, with standing tickets starting at approximately £144.

Ikonomoupoulou's journey to attend three Wembley shows cost nearly €1,000 (around £860) before factoring in flights and accommodation. To cover a portion of these expenses, she resorted to selling pictures of her feet online.

She described the experience as a first for her, explaining that she was initially hesitant when a man contacted her on TikTok requesting the photos. "When he requested the feet pics, it kind of grossed me out, but I just thought, 'In this economy, I have to do something to get Harry Styles tickets,'" she said.

Ikonomoupoulou sold over ten photos to the same buyer, charging between €20 and €40 per image. Initially, the request was for bare feet, but the buyer was later satisfied with photos of her wearing socks.

She discovered Styles' music during a difficult period in quarantine, finding his songs to be an "escape" that helped her through a low point. Upon learning of his UK-only stadium tour, she was determined to attend, despite the challenges of traveling from Greece to London.

Her unconventional side hustle generated approximately €500, which helped pay for her tickets. The now-famous sign was created on the morning of the concert, with the hope of catching Styles' attention.

Ikonomoupoulou positioned herself at the front of the barrier, careful not to obstruct the view of other concertgoers. She expressed surprise when Styles not only saw her sign but also stopped the song to acknowledge her.

Since the video of the interaction went viral, Ikonomoupoulou has become a notable figure among "Harries," as Styles' fans are known. The attention has led to further requests for feet pictures, prompting her to share her payment details with interested buyers.

For her subsequent Wembley shows, Ikonomoupoulou plans to use a new sign that reads, "Feet pic tutorial?"
