Harry Judd and his wife Izzy are celebrating their daughter Lola's casting as Matilda in the West End production of the Roald Dahl musical.
Lola, 10, will share the title role with three other young actresses in the show's 15th anniversary year. She previously made her West End debut earlier this year in "Les Misérables."
"We’re bursting with pride to share that Lola has been cast as Matilda," Harry Judd wrote, expressing his admiration for his daughter's dedication. "It’s hard to put into words what it takes for a little person to reach a moment like this. The resilience. The determination. The hard work. The courage to pick yourself up and keep going."
Judd, a member of the band McFly, also acknowledged those who have supported Lola's journey, stating, "And to everyone who has played a part in helping Lola along the way, those who have taught her, championed her, encouraged her and believed in her... thank you."
Lola is one of three children for Harry and Izzy Judd; they also have two sons, Kit, nine, and Lockie, five.
Separately, Harry Judd is also scheduled to appear in the West End later this year. He will play Coach Bolton in an immersive, 20th-anniversary production of Disney's "High School Musical" at London's Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre from October 12 to January 3, 2027. The cast also includes original film star KayCee Stroh as Ms. Darbus.
