Actress Hannah Waddingham was seen enjoying a day at Wimbledon with her new partner, Nick Beresford-Cleary, on Saturday. The couple were photographed together in the Royal Box, sharing smiles and laughter during the tennis matches.
Waddingham, 51, has been gradually making her relationship with Beresford-Cleary more public. The pair were first pictured together in March, fueling romance rumors at the Cheltenham Festival. More recently, they made their first red carpet appearance together at the Variety Power Of Women event and attended a London screening of Waddingham's new series "Ride Or Die."
Beresford-Cleary is a Consultant Spine Surgeon at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and King Edward VII Hospital. His medical career began after earning a degree in mechanical engineering from UCL, followed by a Medical degree from Edinburgh University and specialist training in Oxford. He has also completed fellowships in pediatric and complex adult spine surgery in Oxford and Vancouver, with an academic attachment in New York.
Waddingham opted for a white shirt and matching long skirt, accessorized with dark sunglasses, while Beresford-Cleary wore a pastel blue suit with a pale grey tie.
They were seated for the ladies' singles final, an all-Czech showdown between 10th seed Karolína Muchová and 9th seed Linda Nosková. This marked the first Wimbledon final for both players.
Waddingham was also joined by television presenter Davina McCall and her husband Michael. McCall wore a gold-buttoned midi dress.
Waddingham previously spoke about her readiness for a new relationship after focusing on her daughter, Kitty, for eight years. She told a magazine that she hadn't had the mental or emotional space for a new partner but was now ready to "stick my head above the parapet a bit more," humorously confirming it was a "very good-looking parapet" that was also "really lovely."
