The Glastonbury Festival has confirmed that tickets for its 2027 event will be available for purchase in October, following a planned fallow year in 2026. This year's general admission tickets will be priced at £408, including a £5 booking fee, marking the first time the cost has exceeded £400 and representing an increase of £29.50 from the 2025 prices.

Tickets for coach travel packages are scheduled to go on sale first, beginning at 6:00 PM BST on Thursday, October 1. General admission tickets will follow a few days later, with sales commencing at 9:00 AM BST on Sunday, October 4.

Glastonbury organizers have implemented measures to combat ticket touting, requiring all attendees to be registered in advance. Prospective festival-goers can verify their registration status on the festival's official website. An automatic queuing system is also in place for the day of sale, necessitating that fans be logged in before the sales begin with a valid registration number.

The festival, which last took place in 2025 with headliners including Olivia Rodrigo, The 1975, and Neil Young, is set to return in June. While headliners for the upcoming festival have not yet been announced, speculation about potential performers is circulating. Festival organizer Emily Eavis has recently addressed rumors, confirming that Madonna will not be among the headliners for the 2027 event. Eavis indicated that three other headliners are confirmed and are generating excitement.

Glastonbury tickets typically sell out rapidly, often within an hour, with thousands of fans participating in online queues to secure their entry. The festival has also confirmed a fallow year in 2026, providing a break for the site.
