Gigi Hadid is embracing a new look for the fall, appearing on the September cover of Vogue France with significantly lightened eyebrows. The striking editorial choice accompanies a bold red lip, a black lace Saint Laurent gown, and Graff earrings.
The ensemble echoes a look previously worn by Zoë Kravitz, who donned a similar scoopneck version of the Saint Laurent dress to the Met Gala in May. At that event, Kravitz revealed her engagement ring from then-fiancé, actor Channing Tatum, which was a notable cushion-cut style by Jessica McCormack.
This is not the first time Hadid has experimented with bleached brows for a fashion moment. In 2022, both Gigi and her sister Bella Hadid walked the Versace runway sporting dramatically lightened arches alongside dark, smoky eye makeup. Hadid continued the look throughout Milan Fashion Week that season.
While the Vogue France cover features Hadid with bleached eyebrows, she has since been photographed with her signature dark blond brows. The temporary nature of the beauty transformation appears to be an editorial decision for the photoshoot. Hadid is expected to return to the runway for the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show later this fall, where it remains to be seen if she will adopt a new signature style.
