The Fast & Furious film series is currently leading streaming platforms as the $7 billion franchise commemorates its 25th anniversary. The saga, which began in 2001, has released 10 films, with production now underway for the eleventh and final installment, which will see Vin Diesel reprise his role as Dominic Toretto.

Several movies from the series have recently entered the global top 10 streaming charts, including Fast Five, The Fast and the Furious, and Fast & Furious 6. Diesel recently expressed gratitude to fans on Instagram for their enduring support, acknowledging their patience as the franchise works towards its finale. He stated that the crew has been working diligently for the past three and a half years to create the "most amazing finale."

The upcoming film, Fast Forever, is scheduled for release on March 17, 2028. It is expected to feature returning cast members such as Jason Statham, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Momoa, Nathalie Emmanuel, Sung Kang, Tyrese Gibson, and Ludacris.

Earlier this year, at the Cannes Film Festival, Diesel became emotional while paying tribute to the late actor Paul Walker and his daughter, Meadow. The screening of the original 2001 film, attended by cast members, received a four-minute standing ovation. Following the ovation, Diesel embraced Meadow Walker and reflected on his relationship with Paul Walker, whom he affectionately called "Pablo."

Paul Walker died in a car accident in 2013 at the age of 40. Meadow Walker was 15 at the time of his death. Addressing the audience, Diesel spoke about the deep bond he shared with Walker, stating, "I pray that in your life, you can have a brother like Paul." He shared personal anecdotes, explaining how a conversation with Walker about his infant daughter influenced the franchise's emphasis on family.

Diesel also highlighted Meadow's presence at the event, noting her observation that she was 27, the same age her father was when he made the first film. He described Meadow as a "source of strength" and expressed confidence that her father would be proud of her.
