Actress Eva Green was reportedly taken to the hospital after an accident occurred on the set of the Netflix series "Wednesday." The incident, which resulted in a leg injury, led to a temporary suspension of filming for the show's third season.
Green, 45, who is known for her role as Vesper Lynd in the James Bond film "Casino Royale," is making her debut in the "Addams Family" spin-off. The accident is said to have happened while she was filming near Dublin.
Sources indicated that the injury was "nasty" and that medical personnel were called to the scene. Green was then transported to a hospital for treatment and is reportedly recovering well. Filming for "Wednesday" season three, which had commenced earlier this year, is said to have since resumed.
The popular Netflix series, which stars Jenna Ortega as the titular character, is currently in its third season. The cast for the upcoming season includes new additions such as Lena Headey, James Lance, and Andrew McCarthy, alongside returning and established cast members like Winona Ryder and Noah Taylor. The creators, Al Gough and Miles Millar, have stated that the new season will introduce new characters and explore "long-rotting Addams Family secrets."
