Davy shared the unused glam in a video to celebrate her fourth Emmy nomination for her work on the HBO series. The scene was ultimately cut, prompting Davy to caption the post, "Bucket of my tears for this Cassie look not going on the big screen."
The makeup featured icy opalescent eyeshadow, a sharp black winged eyeliner, and clear crystals applied across the eyes. Davy completed the look with shimmering skin and a frosted lip. Sydney Sweeney, who plays Cassie, wore the makeup with a rhinestoned mesh halter catsuit, bronze sequin pasties, and chandelier earrings. Her hair was styled in large curls.
Davy has been documenting Cassie's makeup throughout the season, describing the character's overall aesthetic in Season 3 as "performative" and "kind of desperate, unapologetic," designed to draw attention. She previously shared details about Cassie's wedding party makeup and an episode 4 makeover.
