Soccer sensation Erling Haaland has accepted an invitation to dinner with actor Tom Holland, seeking to make amends after initially failing to recognize the "Spider-Man" star.

Haaland extended the offer via Instagram after a clip from Holland's appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" circulated online. In the clip, Holland recounted how he had DM'd Haaland to "hang out," only for the athlete to ignore the message, apparently because he "had no idea" who Holland was and mistook him for a "random person."

"Dinner invitation accepted @tomholland2013. A little late 😅 Just name the place!" Haaland wrote in the comments section of the show's post, adding a laughing emoji.

Holland, 29, had reached out to Haaland, 25, after seeing him at the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix. The actor admitted he "just thought I'd shoot my shot" but never anticipated discussing the interaction on live television. Despite the initial snub, Holland expressed no hard feelings, calling Haaland "incredible" and "an absolute legend."

Haaland, a standout player for Norway, has garnered significant attention both on and off the field. His unique style, including a taxidermied raccoon he brought home after a match and his signature "Viking Flow" haircut, has contributed to his viral fame. Fans often note the contrast between his imposing physical presence and his seemingly more lighthearted personality.
