The sixth and final season of Netflix's "Emily in Paris" will premiere on December 24, the streaming service announced. New images released show star Lily Collins as Emily Cooper and her co-stars ahead of the show's conclusion.
Collins, 37, is seen in a series of fashionable outfits, including gazing at gold designer heels, as she prepares to bid farewell to her fashionista alter-ego. The images also feature Ashley Park as Emily's best friend Mindy Chen, with the two friends pictured holding hands on a bench in what could be a final moment together.
Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, 63, reprises her role as Emily's stylish boss Sylvie Grateau, appearing in a gold strapless gown at a party. Lucien Laviscount also features, with Mindy seen having a moment with Emily's ex-boyfriend Alfie, with whom she developed a romance in previous seasons.
The final season was filmed in Greece, a departure from the series' primary filming location in Paris. Previous seasons have chronicled Emily's journey as a marketing executive from Chicago who lands a dream job in the French capital. Season five saw Emily dividing her time between Paris, Rome, and Venice, while navigating her career and romantic entanglements. The cliffhanger ending of season five had Emily's ex-partner Gabriel discovering she was newly single and inviting her to join him in Greece.
Collins shared a promotional video for the final season, stating that Season 6 will deliver the elements fans love about the show and serve as the concluding chapter of Emily's story. She expressed gratitude for the cast and crew's dedication to making it a memorable farewell.
Series creator Darren Star reflected on the show's run, calling the experience of creating "Emily in Paris" with the cast and crew "the trip of a lifetime." He conveyed his gratitude to Netflix, Paramount, and the fans for their support throughout the journey and looks forward to sharing the final season.
