Prime Video has officially renewed its 'Legally Blonde' prequel series, 'Elle,' for a second season. According to reports, the entire second season has already been filmed.

The announcement of the renewal came in January, and production has moved swiftly. While a specific premiere date for 'Elle' Season 2 has not yet been announced, its quick production turnaround suggests a potential release within a year of Season 1. Industry observers anticipate a possible early summer 2027 debut for the new season.

'Elle' Season 1 concluded with its protagonist, Elle Woods (played by Lexi Underwood), and her mother returning to Seattle after a stint in Los Angeles for an internship. Despite acknowledging Los Angeles as home, they decide to remain in Seattle to address unfinished matters. The season finale featured a romantic moment between Elle and Dustin, observed by Miles, setting up a potential love triangle for the upcoming season.

The first season of 'Elle,' consisting of eight episodes, is currently available for streaming on Prime Video. The series offers a look at Elle Woods' life before her enrollment at Harvard Law School.
