Elise, a breakout participant on 90 Day Fiancé: Hunt for Love, told DailyMail.com that a borrowed jacket from castmate Tim led to the wardrobe malfunction that briefly dominated the two-part Tell-All reunion and that a surprise onstage date request from Tim did not turn into a real-world romance.
The Miami-based model and mortgage lender said the moment — which fellow cast member Tiffany publicly warned her about during the taping — helped break the ice at a reunion she described as "super, super" tense. "That broke the ice, for sure," Elise said of Tiffany's warning. "If Tim didn’t give me his jacket to wear because I was so cold, I don’t think I would’ve had that wardrobe malfunction."
Season 1 of the Hunt for Love spinoff assembled eight single alumni at a luxury retreat in Tulum, Mexico, and produced a string of hookups, betrayals and rivalries among familiar franchise faces including Rob Warne, Tiffany Franco, Chantel Everett, Colt Johnson, Cortney Reardanz, Usman, Tim Malcolm and Jeniffer Tarazona. Elise, originally from Massachusetts, said she entered the resort hoping to form a new connection but ended up at the center of the show's most explosive moments when her former partner Carlos appeared onstage.
Texts shown during the reunion revealed that Carlos had been talking negatively about multiple cast members, and Elise said she "unleashed" after hearing those messages. "I was really emotional because Carlo and I ended shortly after dating and I was there for him for the entire year," she told DailyMail.com. "So to hear that I was by someone’s side — we were like close, like he knew my family, like I knew his family — to hear that he was talking trash about the three people closest to him, that’s just not a good look."
Elise said Carlos attempted to contact her in the months after the reunion. "I would say in the past three months, he's been trying to talk to me, like maked it up to me and I'm not for it," she said. She added that she went on the show with the intention of meeting someone and that she has "learned a lot" from the experience.
As the Tell-All wrapped, Tim publicly asked Elise out, drawing attention on social media and speculation about a potential new franchise pairing. Elise said the moment generated chemistry onstage but that the date never happened off camera because the timing was not right once filming ended.
Online forums and social-media threads have since named Elise a breakout, with some viewers asking producers to bring back standout participants for future seasons or spin-offs. One Reddit poster compared her to reality-television personality Tiffany "New York" Pollard. Elise told DailyMail.com she appreciates supportive fans and has considered criticism as an opportunity to grow. "I love the fans that have been supportive of me and I can't thank them enough," she said. "And you know what? The haters will give me room for improvement and to grow."
Elise said she is currently single and has spent the past six months focusing on self-improvement, friendships and fitness. The two-part Tell-All and the full season of 90 Day Fiancé: Hunt for Love are streaming on TLC.
