Tiana's Bayou Adventure, a recently opened attraction at Disney World, is facing public criticism after guests observed what appeared to be duct tape used to hold a prop together. The issue was first highlighted by an X user who posted images of green adhesive tape on a ride vehicle, noting that the material was anachronistic to the attraction's 1920s New Orleans setting.

The log flume ride, which replaced Splash Mountain in June 2024, transports visitors to Tiana's restaurant from the Disney animated film "The Princess and the Frog." The visible tape has been described by visitors as "embarrassing" and contrary to Disney's expected standards.

This incident adds to a series of reported issues since the ride's opening. Guests have documented various malfunctions, including animatronic figures not functioning correctly, torn fabric on characters, and screens failing to activate. One visitor reported that "half of Tiana’s head was on the ground" during their ride, which subsequently shut down.

The Disneyland version of Tiana's Bayou Adventure, which opened in November 2024, has also experienced problems. In January, guests had to be evacuated from the ride after a boat began taking on water. These ongoing issues have led some critics to call for both versions of the ride to be closed for extensive repairs.

Disney has not yet publicly commented on the specific instances of visible repairs or the recurring malfunctions at Tiana's Bayou Adventure.
