Singer Diana Vickers recently enjoyed a sun-soaked holiday in Portugal, showcasing her vacation style in a red bikini. The getaway followed her revelation that she has ended a year of celibacy.
Vickers, 35, shared images of herself on a beach in Portugal, posing in a red two-piece swimsuit. She later changed into a pink bikini and was seen relaxing with a lemon-flavored beer. Videos shared to her social media also showed her venturing into the sea.
The "Once" hitmaker told Fabulous Magazine that she had decided to give up sex last year, attributing the decision to past dating difficulties and a desire to focus her energy on her work. However, she recently returned to intimacy, describing it as one of her "love languages" and expressing a craving for connection.
"It got to the year mark, which I wanted to reach and I celebrated it by sleeping with someone I worked with," Vickers stated. She described the experience as "really lovely" with a "really lovely guy," with whom she has remained friends.
Vickers is currently single. Her last public relationship was a four-year romance with model and musician George Craig, which concluded in 2015. She has expressed a desire for a deep connection and the possibility of settling down.
Since rising to fame on The X Factor in 2008, Vickers has released music, including a number one single, and has also established a career in musical theater, appearing in West End productions.
