New court documents filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court and obtained by Us Weekly show a wide range for Tori Spelling’s monthly earnings and outline financial difficulties reported by her estranged husband, actor and host Dean McDermott, as the couple moves toward finalizing their divorce.

The filings, submitted by McDermott on Sept. 5, list Spelling’s monthly income as ranging from $3,000 to $75,000, with earnings that vary "depending on the job." McDermott reported his own monthly income as $3,800 and said his finances have been affected by the "SAG/AFTRA strikes and change in the industry," adding, "My acting and producing work has decreased drastically." The documents state McDermott’s monthly expenses total $3,980, $180 more than his reported income.

The filings also list McDermott’s outstanding debts, including a past-due loan of $200,000 with City National Bank. Earlier reports said the former couple owed roughly $400,000 after taking out a $395,000 loan; a judge later assessed McDermott was responsible for just over $202,000 of that debt and the court awarded the bank $400,000. McDermott’s other liabilities in the paperwork include $2,500 past due to Capital One, $12,000 past due with CareCredit and $1,200 for dental work.

The documents further state McDermott’s girlfriend, Lily Calo, has monthly income of about $600. They also indicate McDermott presently has custodial time with the couple’s youngest child, son Beau, who is eight. Spelling and McDermott, who married in 2006, have five children: Liam, 18; Stella, 17; Hattie, 13; Finn, 13; and Beau. Spelling filed for divorce on March 29, 2024, listing the date of separation as June 17, 2023.

In previous public remarks, McDermott acknowledged problems in the marriage and said he was taking responsibility for harm he caused. In November 2023 he told DailyMail.com, "All Tori’s ever done, to this day, is want me to be happy and healthy and I inflicted a lot of damage and pain on that woman," and added, "I'm taking accountability for that today. And it's the biggest amend that I'm ever going to have to make."

Spelling has since been linked publicly with advertising executive Ryan Cramer, a relationship she said reignited in April. On her podcast earlier this year, Spelling spoke emotionally about her situation, saying, "I'm now 51 and single again with five kids... I don't want to die alone," and describing uncertainty about her future.

Daily Mail reported that it contacted representatives for both Spelling and McDermott for comment and did not immediately hear back. The court filings add to a series of public disclosures in the couple’s long, widely reported separation and underscore the financial complexities being navigated as the divorce proceeds.
