Christina Pazsitzky, estranged wife of comedian Tom Segura, has spoken out about their separation, describing it as a "really difficult time" for their family.

Pazsitzky addressed fans of their podcast, "Your Mom’s House," on her Instagram Stories Saturday. "Thank you for all the kind messages," she wrote. "This is a really difficult time for our family."

She explained that episodes of the podcast are pre-recorded, which is why recent events had not been mentioned. "Just know your mommy love you and will see you very soon," she concluded.

It was revealed earlier this month that Pazsitzky, 50, and Segura, 47, had separated amicably after 18 years of marriage. The couple shares two sons, born in 2016 and 2018. They are co-founders of the podcast network YMH Studios and have co-hosted "Your Mom’s House" since 2012.

Segura had previously hinted at marital issues when he appeared without his wedding ring on a July 13 episode of his podcast "2 Bears, 1 Cave." The couple has reportedly continued to co-host "Your Mom’s House" despite their split, though they have not appeared on an episode together since late April.

Both comedians have previously incorporated jokes about their marriage into their act. Pazsitzky, in her 2017 Netflix special "Mother Inferior," stated, "I love my husband. I laugh at his jokes. I think he’s fantastic. And then all day, every day, I wanna punch him in his dumb face." In 2019, Segura joked that his marriage was maintained by "intimidation and fear."

An insider told TMZ that the couple had a "special and productive relationship, creating one of the most successful comedy podcast networks in the industry and, more importantly, two kids." The source added, "They are taking different paths moving forward while remaining devoted to their children."
