Christian Bale recently shared his admiration for his daughter, Emmeline 'Luka' Bale, 21, highlighting her considerable talents in modeling and photography.
"She's incredibly talented as a photographer and as a model herself, and I do see her directing me one day," Bale told E! News at the Madden premiere in Los Angeles. "She's got an amazing mind. An amazing creative brain and incredible visions, et cetera. I'm so bloody proud of her."
Bale, known for his intense roles, even joked that he would likely behave better if his daughter were in charge, admitting, "I'd probably behave better for her than everybody else ever. I'm terrified."
Luka Bale made her runway debut in 2021 at the age of 16 for Dolce & Gabbana's Alta Moda fashion show in Venice, Italy. She has since continued to work with the fashion house on various shows. She is represented by Elite Model Management Paris.
Beyond modeling, Luka has pursued photography, sharing her creative projects on social media. She also had minor roles in her father's films, including "Ford v Ferrari" (2019) and "Thor: Love and Thunder" (2022).
Christian Bale and his wife, Sibi Blažić, who is also a model, have another child, a 12-year-old son named Joseph. The couple met through actress Winona Ryder, for whom Blažić was an assistant. Bale and Blažić married in Las Vegas in 2000.
In September, the couple opened a village in Palmdale, California, designed to house foster siblings together, preventing them from being separated by the system. Bale had been involved in the project, which includes 12 houses, two studio apartments, and a community center, since Luka's birth in 2005, motivated by the number of children in foster care in the state. The village is the first of its kind in California.
