Amy Childs has shared comparison photos documenting her weight gain journey, revealing that "skinny jabs" and stress over her mother's health caused her to drop to a low of 7 stone.

The former TOWIE personality, 36, posted "before and after" bikini snaps on Saturday, explaining that the injections contributed to a dramatic change in her physique. She detailed how a cycle of "yo-yo dieting" had previously impacted her body confidence.

Childs has been working with nutritionist and trainer Jon Kirk to regain weight and strengthen her body. She stated in her post that while she has a "long way to go," her current physique represents progress after struggling to gain weight and manage her nutrition. She credited Kirk for helping her understand nutrition, fitness, and how to properly fuel her body.

"It's no longer about dieting or just focusing on the scales. It's about health, strength and performance," Childs wrote. She added that she is still learning and working towards her goals but is now enjoying the process.

In the past month, Childs had also shared bikini photos from her wedding day, reflecting on her body's transformation. She noted that working with Kirk has kept her accountable and challenged her, leading to a feeling of health, happiness, and confidence rather than just focusing on being skinny.

Childs previously spoke about her difficulties with losing weight healthily before seeking Jon's help. She described a cycle of under-fueling, stress, temporary weight loss, and subsequent regain. She explained that she learned it was not simply about "eat less, move more" but also about mindset, different phases of her body's needs, and fitting fitness into her real life.

"My food has improved, I feel stronger and I can see changes in my body, my skin and my strength," she said. Childs also mentioned that her shoulders have built tissue, and she feels more confident, finally breaking free from the diet-lose-regain cycle.

In May, Childs had mentioned that her mother, Julie, had a heart attack the previous year, which contributed to her own weight loss. She also admitted to trying "skinny jabs" for two weeks prior to that, hoping for a quick fix for baby weight, but stated she became "so ill."
