Charlize Theron brought her distinctive style to Seoul on Monday for a press stop promoting her upcoming film, "The Odyssey." The actress appeared in a striking clear vinyl skirt from Tom Ford’s fall 2026 collection, designed by Haider Ackermann.
The ensemble featured the clear, leather-trimmed wrap skirt layered over a black lace slip and sheer stockings emblazoned with the TF logo. Theron completed the look with long black leather gloves and pointed patent stiletto pumps, pairing the avant-garde skirt with a crisp blue striped button-down shirt.
Theron shared the look on Instagram, captioning it, “Calypso finally leaves the island… and lands in Seoul ❤️.” She stars as the sea nymph Calypso in Christopher Nolan's adaptation of Homer's epic, which is set to be released in theaters on July 17.
Ackermann described his fall 2026 collection as “a language … of seduction,” noting its exploration of contrasts such as "hard and soft. Sharp and cocooning."
This bold fashion choice is part of a global press tour where Theron has consistently made sartorial statements. Previous appearances have included a Louis Vuitton chain dress in Beijing, Tom Ford tap shorts in Paris, and plunging gowns by Dior and Givenchy by Sarah Burton. Throughout the tour, her longtime stylist Leslie Fremar has incorporated subtle nods to Theron's character, Calypso.
Earlier in the press tour, Theron garnered attention for a candid comment about co-star Matt Damon's physique, remarking on his appearance after seeing him out of costume during filming.
